2010 On-The-Beach General Liability Insurance (BACK TO MAIN MENU)
HELPFUL LINKS: Frequently Asked Questions | Insurance Application | Email Contact

This coverage fills a definite need for small clubs and "paper" clubs, windsurfing and multi-hull sailors. It protects the organization from liability for incidents of property damage or bodily injury occurring over-the-land.

It provides liability protection for the organizer for injury while operating from beach property, such as public and private beaches and national or state parks.

If the organization owns or leases the land or building, it can be eligible provided that the gross revenue, including dues, does not exceed $25,000. If your organization does not own or lease land or building space, the revenues are unlimited to acquire this insurance.

This coverage is available only as an add-on to the Regatta Liability Insurance policy. This combination provides a complete spectrum of shore-side and on-the-water insurance protection for small organizations at an affordable price.

Injuries or damage as a result of propulsion from kites is now excluded.

Event Amateur Borrowed or Chartered Boat Insurance (BACK TO MAIN MENU)

This coverage is only available to Regatta Organizers that purchase their Regatta Liability Insurance through The David Agency.

THIS IS AVAILABLE FOR REGATTA ORGANIZERS ONLY. The purpose of this insurance is to obtain boats to execute a regatta. Provides a three-directional protection plan that protects the owner providing the boat, the skipper using the boat and the race organizer. Each of these three portions is independent of the other and one, two, or all three can be acquired. Should your organization need to borrow a number of boats for a regional, national, worlds or international championship, and wish to return the boats back to the owners in as good of shape (less normal wear and tear) as you received them as Regatta Chair. Travelers Insurance Company will pay for the repairs to them (less the deductible) and you can get them back to their owners quickly. Per-boat coverage as high as $60,000 is available.
